I-PEX has announced the release of NOVASTACK^® 35-HDP 12, a new addition to its NOVASTACK^® series of Board-to-Board connectors. Featuring a mating height of 1.2 mm, the connector offers excellent mating operability,  high connection reliability, and is equipped with four power contacts supporting 4.5 A per pin.

Board-to-Board connectors are required to deliver not only electrical performance such as high-speed signal transmission, but also ease of mating, mechanical strength, and reliable connections. Rather than optimizing these characteristics individually, a well-balanced overall design has become increasingly important in product selection.

To comprehensively address these requirements, I-PEX developed the NOVASTACK^® 35-HDP 12 Board-to-Board connector. As an optimal option for various applications, this product introduces a new 1.2 mm mating height, which had not previously been available in the NOVASTACK^® series lineup. This design enables excellent mating operability while ensuring high connection reliability through strong mating retention force.

In addition, the connector is equipped with four power contacts supporting 4.5 A per pin, allowing efficient power delivery while contributing to space savings. Furthermore, the integrated metal shield based on the ZenShield^® structure enhances EMC performance and overall robustness.
With its superior electrical characteristics, mechanical reliability, and stable assembly performance, NOVASTACK^® 35-HDP 12 meets a wide range of requirements from board design to assembly processes.
