New Product Release: I-PEX released new 0.9 mm max. low profile CABLINE®-CAL IIF FPC connection connector (2025/Sep/12)
I-PEX CABLINE® series has been well-received for their compact size, high-speed transmission, and EMI countermeasures. Recently, I-PEX released the CABLINE®-CAL IIF, which is 0.4 mm pitch, 0.9 mm max. mating height, horizontally mated, ZenShield®, high-speed transmission (32 Gbps/lane) connector for FPC connection.
Background
In recent years, information and telecommunications equipment has seen increasing speed and miniaturization.
To meet the demand for reduced transmission loss due to faster data transmission speeds and to solve the problem of interference with antenna frequency bands installed in IoT devices, it is necessary to provide noise suppression for electronic components installed inside devices.
Additionally, as devices become smaller, internal space constraints are becoming stricter, and there is an increasing demand for low-profile FPC-compatible connectors that can transmit high-speed signals, which cannot be handled by the micro-coaxial cable connectors that have traditionally been used.
To expand customer design flexibility and meet these evolving needs, I-PEX has developed the CABLINE®-CAL IIF connector.
