Personal Information Protection Policy
We, I-PEX Co., Ltd. and its group companies(hereafter, "I-PEX") make
use of the information which can specify an individual, such as name of affiliated
institution, personal name, telephone number, E-mail address and etc(hereafter,
"Personal Information") to be provided from you(hereafter, "Information Provider")
through I-PEX's web site(www.i-pex.com), recruiting activities and other
ordinary transaction, and I-PEX strictly and appropriately protect, handle and take
custody of the Personal Information as follows in conformity with the applicable
laws and regulations.
1. I-PEX strive not to spoil the benefits of Information Provider when I-PEX
obtain, possess and make use of the Personal Information.
2. I-PEX do not make use of the Personal Information without a prior consent
of Information Provider for any other purpose(s) than what I-PEX intended
beforehand. As to the purpose(s) for which I-PEX intend to use, please refer
to the following "Intended Purposes".
3. I-PEX do not disclose Personal Information to third party without a prior
acceptance from Information Provider unless I-PEX is required to disclose
it by justifiable reasons allowed by laws and regulations.
4. Upon receipt of a request from Information Provider, I-PEX will do the
necessary action to disclose, correct or suspend the Personal Information
in accordance with the appropriate procedures established internally.
5. In order to protect the Personal Information, I-PEX will improve or update
this policy in view of the change of the applicable laws, regulations and social
circumstances.
Intended Purposes
I-PEX may use the Personal Information for the following purposes.
* For products' introduction, maintenance, induction course and other services
* For investigation and information about products, technologies and services
* For distribution of direct-mail
* For announcement of seminar, exhibition show and etc.
* For recruiting affairs
- I-PEX make use of business background, application reason, license,
earnings and others described in a resume provided to I-PEX for recruiting
and results of employment examination, medical diagnosis and others to be
executed for employment.
- When I-PEX decide to employ someone, I-PEX make use of the Personal
Information like personal name, business background, license and etc, which
can specify an individual, for personnel administration purpose.
- Within the necessary scope of the recruiting affairs, I-PEX may disclose the
Personal Information to an agency, who collects and analyzes the information
related to recruiting, under an appropriate contract.
- I-PEX may store the Personal Information obtained through the recruiting
affairs for the future recruiting purpose extending over 5 years after the date
of receipt.
