• 1Kick off of Environmental Management System (EMS) at end of year 2003 and acquired ISO Certificate in January 2005
• With cooperative supports of EMS set-up to our manufacturing partners, all of overseas production plants acquired ISO 14001. Domestic production plants acquired KES2(one of Japan local certificates)

Abolishing and Reducing Environmental Hazardous Chemical Substances

• Starts “Lead-Free plating version” from customer request products in beginning of year 2005
• Plan to stop receiving orders for lead plating products in March, 2006 and to ship only lead free plating products from July, 2006 in principle

• Started customer support service for RoHS Compliant verification reporting request from beginning of year 2004
• Rapid increase of 377 customer requests were handled last year now that RoHS Directive come into force in 1st of July, 2006 in EU
• Built up standard operation system of environmental hazardous substance control for new product development in 3Q, 2005
• Plan to start applying identification marking of RoHS Compliant goods from June, 2006
